Troubleshooting

Why don't the colors look exactly like the palette?

Confetti darkens or lightens a color wherever text in that color, or on that color, would be hard to read, keeping its hue. The Style book page template shows the colors in use.

Can I use my own brand colors?

Confetti keeps its colors to its four palettes. To fine-tune them, use Advanced › Custom CSS with the design tokens (see Custom CSS and design tokens). For full control of brand colors, the Vitrine theme offers them as settings.

Why are there fewer settings than in Vitrine?

Confetti sets most of its design itself, so a site looks right with a palette and a logo. Its pages, blocks and templates are the same as Vitrine's.

How do I make the site quieter?

Set Colors & fonts › Decorations to Calm: the confetti, squiggles and stars go away, and the shapes and colors stay.

My logo disappears in dark mode.

Add a light version of the logo under Dark mode › Logo for dark mode.

Where do I choose what appears on item pages?

Under Theme › Configure resource pages. See Item and media pages.

Why is my link preview on social media missing an image?

Choose a Default sharing image under Site icon & sharing, or a site thumbnail. Social networks keep previews for a while; their sharing debuggers can refresh them.

How do I translate the theme into my language?

See Languages and translation.

A module's page doesn't match the theme.

Most module pages inherit Confetti's styles. If something looks out of place, adjust it under Advanced › Custom CSS using the design tokens, and tell RefBytes which module and page it is.
